What we keep, in plain words.

This site is run by Pursuit Labs, LLC, a Florida company. Here is what it stores about you, and where it goes.

Your email

We keep your email address so you can sign in and so your Claim Map is saved to your account. All our email (sign-in codes, playbook notices, the one note asking what you thought of your playbook, and decision updates) is sent through Resend, an email service. We store each sign-in code only in a scrambled form, and it expires in ten minutes. We do not sell or rent your address.

Sign-in sessions and rate limiting

When you sign in we keep a scrambled session token, when it was made and last used, and your browser's name. To stop abuse of the sign-in form we keep a scrambled form of your internet address and of your email address for two days, then delete them.

Your Claim Map selections

When you are signed in, the conditions, situation, service history, and evidence options you select are saved to your account. That is what you chose to tell us. It is not a diagnosis and it is not a medical record.

Email updates

Whether email updates about new Board decisions are on for your account, and when you last changed that. New accounts are off unless you tick the box at sign-in. Accounts made before 6 September 2026 were switched on by a column default or by a box that came pre-ticked, which is not a choice, so on 6 September 2026 we switched every one of them off. Nobody gets an update without turning it on. Turn them off on your account page or with the link at the bottom of any update.

Your playbook and purchase

If you buy the playbook, Stripe, our payment processor, receives your email address and billing address, and we keep the Stripe customer number, the amount, and the date of the purchase. We never see your card number. To write your playbook we send your Claim Map selections (conditions, situation, service history, and the evidence you said you have, never your email) to Anthropic, the AI company whose model writes the chapters. Anthropic processes it under its API terms. We keep a copy of the Claim Map the playbook was built from, the finished playbook, and which of its steps you ticked off. Software checks each chapter against the regulations and Board decisions it cites before the playbook is released, and no person reads it on the way out. An administrator can open any member's playbook and step progress for support and quality checks. Nobody else sees it.

Your review

If you leave a review, we keep the stars, the words, and the name and branch you chose to show. Approved reviews appear on the home page under that name. If you bought the playbook, the review also carries the words Verified purchase.

What we do not collect

We do not ask for, upload, or store medical records, service treatment records, claim files, or VA decision letters. We never see your claim.

Cookies

One cookie of ours keeps you signed in. On the checkout page, Stripe's payment script sets two of its own cookies (__stripe_mid, __stripe_sid) to prevent card fraud, and Stripe says it does not use them for advertising. There are no advertising cookies.

Hosting

The site and its database run on Cloudflare in the United States. Payments go through Stripe, email through Resend, and the playbook text through Anthropic, as described above.

Deleting your account

Email hello@thevadisabilityhack.com from your account address and we remove your saved Claim Map, your playbook and progress, your review, and your sign-in sessions, and we close the account. If you bought the playbook, we keep the record of the purchase for our accounts, so your email address stays on that record.
